The Hostel has been refurbished and is under new ownership. We actively encourage individuals and groups to come and stay to make the most of all the local attractions. We are within easy distance of all the major Lake-District tourist attractions as well as some of the most popular walks including the “Cumbria Way” which starts in Ulverston and finishes in Carlisle.
The Hostel works closely with local businesses to provide a range of services and activities that will make your stay in Ulverston a time to remember. Take a glider flight over the stunning Lake District scenery or canoe down one of our many rivers. Whatever you want to do then we can arrange it or know somebody who can.

We are proud to be able to provide the accommodation for an intensive outdoor instructor training course run by “River Deep - Mountain High” that will provide a foundation in a wide range of outdoor qualifications and skills.
